Welcome to ad infinitum, my Internet
gallery. The art here is based on fractals, self-similar mathematical images. In a way it
resembles photography: I pluck these breathtaking vistas out of the fractal depths, using a
PC and software for a camera, and capture them in pixel form for display.
The site is arranged around two sets of galleries. The themed galleries house the
latest and best of my work, listed by thumbnail and grouped around fanciful topics. The
complete list contains every piece on this site, listed alphabetically, without thumbnails.
Also included, under "Essays and Information", are several brief essays on
fractals and fractal art. Read them to learn what a fractal is, why I and many others
consider them art, and what it is about these simple formulae that inspires such passion and
fascination.
These pictures are not freeware. You may not use them to make money, and you may
not alter them in any way. If you’d like to post them where others will see them, please contact me for permission. Don’t let my copyright notice scare you
off, though: usually I will answer "yes." Download them all you like for your
personal use--I’ve posted a full gallery of wallpaper for a reason! Just remember to give
credit where credit is due.
