Most of the fractal universe is surreal and organic, but now and then a scene surfaces that could have come from an architect's or a jeweler's hand. Here a few of these are displayed.

Much of a fractal's beauty lies in an inescapable sense of deja vu: looking at these images, one sees the world's flora and fauna reflected in a Mandelbrot mirror.

Gentle as Gaia's face can be, she has her moments of terrible caprice. Here one sees what happens when her anger is aroused.

The ocean has evoked mystery and wonder ever since Homo sapiens first laid eyes upon it. Here it arises again in fractal beauty. 

When it relaxes in sleep, the human mind spins visions it can barely comprehend in the harsh daylight. Perhaps it has found them again in fiction, in fantasy, and in this gallery.
